어렸을 때부터 책읽기를 좋아했다. 언니들이 보던 동화책, 위인전 등을 보며 공부하고 꿈도 키웠다. 서울대학교에 입학해서 식품공학을 전공했다. 작가가 되고 싶다는 꿈을 이루기 위해 숭실사이버대학교 방송문예창작학과에 편입하여 다양한 장르의 문학 수업을 받았으며, 최우등 성적으로 졸업했다. 아울러 [크리스천 문학나무] 주간이자 소설가인 이건숙 사모를 알게 되어 소설 쓰는 법을 좀 더 깊이 배웠다. 2022년 겨울 [크리스천 문학나무]에서 단편 「빛길을 가다」로 등단한 후 꾸준히 작품을 쓰고 있다. 2024년 3월에는 세상에 꼭 있어야 할 좋은 책들을 펴내 세상의 빛과 소금의 역할을 하고자 조이록북스 출판사를 설립했다.

Migu Cho has loved reading since childhood. She studied and grew her dreams by reading fairy tales and biographies that her older sisters enjoyed. She majored in Food Engineering at Seoul National University.
To fulfill her dream of becoming a writer, she transferred to Soongsil Cyber University’s Department of Broadcasting and Literary Creation, where she took various literature courses and graduated with the highest honors. Additionally, she met Ms. Geon-suk Lee, a novelist and the editor-in-chief of 《Christian Literary Tree》, and learned the art of novel writing in greater depth.
After debuting in the winter of 2022 with a short story in 《Christian Literary Tree》, she has been continuously writing works.
In March 2024, she established Joyrockbooks publishing company with the aim of publishing good books that are essential for the world, thus serving as its light and salt. This book is the English translation of 《Nine Colors of Love》.
