This book was grown from my own teaching experiences and several authoritative English Vocabulary texts. This is a trial edition for classroom use only, so indulgence is requested for its shortcomings. Following classroom use and gathering students’ insights, a complete book is forthcoming.
I hope that this book will be able to help you, not only to pass your exams or attain certificates, but also make you a better and more confident speaker of the English language. It is also hoped that this book will spur you to delve into the interesting world of word study of the English language around you.
