김흡영金洽榮은 한국과학생명포럼의 대표이자 영국 케임브리지대학교에 본부를 둔 ‘세계과학종교학술원’의 창립 정회원이며, 미국 버클리연합신학대학원(GTU)의 아시아신학 석학교수였다. 강남대학교에서 조직신학 교수로 재직했고, 한신대학교, 연세대학교, 중국 복단대학교의 초빙교수였으며, ‘아시아신학자협의회’ 공동의장과 ‘한국조직신학회’ 회장을 역임했다. 저서로 『도의 신학Ⅰ, Ⅱ』, 『현대과학과 그리스도교』, 『Wang Yang-ming and Karl Barth』, 『Christ and the Tao』,『가온 찍기』 등이 있다.
Heup Young Kim is a pioneering Korean theologian known for integrating Christian theology with Confucian and Daoist traditions. Formerly professor of theology at Kangnam University (South Korea), he is founding director of the Korea Forum for Science and Life and founding member of the International Society for Science and Religion. His work in Theodao offers a transformative perspective on theology in the Anthropocene.
