의성스님의 대승불교입니다.

의성스님은 부처님의 정법을 세상에 전하기 위해 한곳에 편히 머물러 있지 않고, 기쁜 마음으로 먼 길도 마다하지 않으시고, 일체의 법사비도 받지 않으시고, 어떠한 목적도 없이 오롯이 부처님 말씀을 실천하고 전하기 위해 대중에게 다가오시는 스님이십니다.
의성스님은 법당에서 법문에 필요한 곳은 어디든지 찾아가서 부처님 말씀을 전하고 실천하며, 부처님 법문이 있는 곳이 부처님 도량이고 수많은 선신들이 그곳에 함께 있으며, 그런 법문을 듣고 실행하는 모든 분이 바로 부처가 될 수 있다 라고 말씀하십니다.
의성스님은 질병으로 고통받고 있는 어린이와 어려운 이웃을 보살피는 데에 앞장서고 계시는 우리 불교계에 몇 안 되는 분이십니다.
이런 의성스님의 법문이 온 세상에 널리 알려지고 미래 대승불교 발전에 큰 획을 그을 수 있도록 많이 응원해주시고 동참해 주시면 더없이 감사하겠습니다.
재가불자 중심의 단체인 우리 ‘대승불교’는 그런 의성스님의 뜻에 따라 어떠한 목적 없이 부처님 말씀을 함께 세상에 전하고 실천하며 살아가려 노력하고 있습니다.

This is Ven. Uiseong’s Daseong Buddhism.

Ven. Uiseong does not comfortably stay in one place; instead, he gladly travels long distances to spread the true teachings of the Buddha to the world. He accepts no dharma talk fees and approaches the public with no ulterior motive other than purely practicing and delivering the Buddha’s words.
Ven. Uiseong says that he will leave his temple to travel anywhere a dharma talk is needed, in order to share and practice the Buddha’s teachings. He also emphasizes that any place where the Buddha’s dharma is taught becomes a sacred ground(Dojana) where countless benevolent spirits gather, and that anyone who listens to and practices such teachings can ultimately become a Buddha themselves.
Ven. Uiseong is one of the few venerable figures in the Buddhist community who takes the lead in caring for children suffering from illnesses and neighbors in need.
We would be deeply grateful for your abundant support and participation, so that Ven. Uiseong’s dharma talks may be widely known throughout the world and leave a historic milestone in the future development of Mahayana Buddhism..
Our organization, ‘Daseong Buddhism,’ is a lay-centered group striving to live by practicing and sharing the Buddha’s teachings with the world without any ulterior motive, following the noble intentions of Ven. Uiseong.
Ven. Uiseong’s Korean version of the Diamond Sutra, which is easy for anyone to understand, has also been translated into English, allowing lay Buddhists around the world to practice it together anytime, anywhere.
