안녕! 나는 쓰레기 요정 케니야.

그린 가족과 함께 지구를 지키기 위한 모험을 이어 가던 어느 날, 믿기 힘든 일이 벌어졌어. 학교 뒤편에 쌓여 있던 음식물 쓰레기가 거대한 괴물로 변한 거야! 버려진 음식을 먹을수록 괴물은 점점 더 커지고 무시무시해졌지.
우리는 괴물을 막으려고 애썼지만 소용이 없었어. 그런데 놀랍게도 친구들이 음식을 남기지 않고 먹을 때마다 괴물의 몸이 작아지는 거야!
그래서 시작한 것이 ‘음식물 쓰레기 제로 챌린지’였어. 하지만 괴물은 다시 나타났지. 이번에는 음식물 쓰레기 재활용 센터였어!
그곳에서 우리는 버려진 음식물이 새로운 자원으로 바뀌는 과정을 배웠어. 그리고 깨달았지. 괴물을 물리치려면 더 많은 사람들의 힘이 필요하다는 걸!
우리는 ‘제로 웨이스트 특공대’를 결성해 동네 사람들에게 올바른 분리배출 방법을 알리기 시작했어. 그러자 놀라운 변화가 일어났지. 더럽고 무섭기만 했던 괴물의 모습이 조금씩 달라지는 거야.
사실 괴물에게는 비밀이 있었어. 진짜 이름은 ‘테리’였고, 처음부터 나쁜 괴물은 아니었던 거지.
우리는 음식물 쓰레기로 퇴비를 만들고 텃밭도 가꾸었어. 버려질 뻔한 음식 찌꺼기가 새로운 생명을 키우는 소중한 자원으로 다시 태어난 거야. 그리고 마침내 테리에게도 놀라운 일이 벌어졌어!
이제 나는 알아. 우리가 무심코 버리는 것에도 새로운 가능성이 숨어 있다는 걸.

Hello! I'm Kenny, the Trash Elf!

One day, while protecting the Earth with the Greene family, something unbelievable happened. A pile of food waste behind our school turned into a giant Trash Monster! The more discarded food it ate, the bigger and scarier it became.
We tried everything to stop it. But then we discovered something amazing. Whenever students finished their meals without wasting food, the monster shrank!
So we started the Zero Food Waste Challenge. But the monster returned, this time at a food waste recycling center!
There, we learned how discarded food could become valuable resources. We realized that defeating the monster would take the whole community.
We formed the Zero Waste Squad and taught our neighbors how to sort food waste properly. As more people joined us, the monster slowly began to change.
Then we discovered its secret. Its real name was Terri, and it hadn't always been a monster!
We turned food scraps into compost and used it to grow vegetables in our garden. What once seemed useless was now helping new life grow. And something magical happened to Terri, too!
I learned that even things we throw away can hold the promise of new life.
